About ClockWorks

Setup

  1. Download the trial copy from ClockWorks Trial
  2. Extract the Setup file from the downloaded zip file and run the installation and launch the application.
  3. For the first two weeks, you can enjoy the application free of charge.
  4. To purchase the product click on the 'Buy Now' button and follow the steps.

Quick Start

  1. Set up the connection between the application and the device

    1. Open 'System Settings' screen
    2. Update the IP Address and Port information if necessary and add other devices if needed.
    3. Click 'Save' to save the new settings

  2. Set Mode and Working Days

    1. Open 'System Settings' screen
    2. 'By Time' will allow only hours worked within the specified period. 'User Selection' will allow any time within the selected start and end as long as it covers equivalent amount of time.

  3. Import the employees registered on the device into the application database

    1. Open 'Device Management Communication' screen
    2. Select the device from the list, then click 'Connect'
    3. Click 'Download workers data from device'
    4. Click 'Download attendance from device'
    5. Click 'Disconnect'

  4. Fill out employees information

    1. Open 'Employees & Departments' screen
    2. Fill the imported employees data and set up the report order and salaries
    3. Click 'Save' to finalize the changes

  5. Set up shifts & assign employees to shifts

    1. Open 'Shift Management' screen
    2. Add or Update shifts if needed Add Shift image
    3. To assign shifts to employees: select employees, select target shift, select start and end date for assignment and click 'Save'

  6. Generate Your First Report

    1. Open 'Reports' screen
    2. Select One or More Employees
    3. Select Start & End Date
    4. Select Report Type
    5. Click on Create Report

  7. In order to see the expected report, ensure you have attendance data for the selected employee and he has an assigned shift within the report period.
